Wild black pepper comes from the central highlands of Vietnam, from Pleiku. The pepper berries grow wild in the surrounding rainforests , which has given it the nickname jungle pepper . It is picked by the Bazan , an indigenous people , which makes it a real speciality.
The largest island in Vietnam is not only home to around 70,000 people, but also to the famous island pepper . It is picked by hand and dried in the warm rays of the sun.
A mixture of green, red, white and black peppercorns gives this fruity pepper mix a sophisticated spiciness. It is also hand-picked and selected by the indigenous Vietnamese Bazan people.
