While coffee from Vietnam is already known in this country for its strong aromas and high roast quality , spices from the land of the "rising dragon" are still a bit of an insider tip . Just like our coffee products, we also source our spices from small, traditional family businesses.

Wild black pepper comes from the central highlands of Vietnam, from Pleiku. The pepper berries grow wild in the surrounding rainforests , which has given it the nickname jungle pepper . It is picked by the Bazan , an indigenous people , which makes it a real speciality.

Because of its scent, it is also called lemon pepper . Connoisseurs will recognize similarities with Sichuan and Kampot pepper from Cambodia.

Our wild pepper is perfect for putting together your own individual spice mix . You can use this for grilling and frying. The pepper is suitable for meat , especially chicken , fish and seafood , but also for vegetables . We also like to use it for marinades , dips and as a salad or soup seasoning .
