The 8 simple steps of preparation with a French Press
- First, remove the sieve stamp insert from the pot
- Add the coffee powder to the pot according to the desired intensity
- Pour in hot, not boiling water. The best temperature is around 93°C – 95°C
- Now stir vigorously to distribute the coffee evenly in the water
- Let the coffee brew for 3.5 to 4 minutes
- Stir briefly twice more and skim off the foam from the surface
- Now press the sieve stamp down slowly and evenly
- Pour the finished French Press coffee into a cup and enjoy
